Yes, We're Open and Fully Staffed!John Moore is Designated an Essential Service Provider
Keeping your home and family safe has been our top priority for nearly 55 years. Now, more than ever, the John Moore family is committed to taking every possible precaution to protect the health and safety of our customers and our technicians. We hope this message will help to put your mind at ease.
All John Moore employees are trained on the proper and most current safety precautions to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19. All of our technicians use shoe covers, latex gloves, special hand wash, and now disinfectant to clean all tools and work surfaces in your home before and after service. John Moore technicians will simply greet our customers with a friendly smile instead of a handshake. We will truly miss the Texas handshake and hope you understand this is for everyone's protection during this time.
In addition, all staff business travel has been temporarily suspended, and all John Moore team members returning from travel must pass a health check prior to returning to work. All sick employees will be kept home for a time and will not be allowed to work. In addition, our office support team is prepared to work remotely as needed so that our team can continue to help our neighbors safely during this crisis.
Our hearts go out to all impacted by this unexpected and unprecedented turn of events. The John Moore family is dedicated to the ongoing safety of our customers and employees, and we will continue to closely monitor and update you as situations develop. Until then, please take care of yourselves and those around you. Exercise caution. Wash your hands. These little changes can have a big impact.
If we can be of some particular help, please give us a call. The John Moore family is here for you.
Making the John Moore Building a 'Safe Zone' for All EmployeesIncluding office staff and technicians who interact with our customers.
- We have hired a professional office cleaning company to continually disinfect surfaces, door handles, everything in our building all day long every day.
- We are installing hospital-grade air filters and ultra-violet lights in the air conditioning system to clean the air in our entire building 8 times every hour all day long.
- We are hiring a registered nurse to check every person entering our building every morning. This includes checking field technicians as they come in for meetings.
- We will break down all large meetings into small groups of less than 10 people to limit exposure.
