HOUSTON (Nov. 24, 2021) – John Moore Services, Houston’s most trusted complete home service provider, is kicking off this holiday season with a gift to the community. Starting Monday, Nov. 22, customers who use John Moore Services for a plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pest control, lawn treatment, roofing or remodeling repair will receive a $50 VISA gift card to use at their discretion. Customers are encouraged to “Pay it Forward” by giving the gift card to someone in need or purchasing toys for children in order to give back to the community.

Last year, John Moore Services launched the $50 gift card initiative and it helped tens of thousands of families and individuals recover from the pandemic and get back on their feet. Customers used the gift cards to pay bills, support local restaurants and businesses and help neighbors. John Moore Services remains dedicated to making a positive impact on others and anticipates it will help thousands more enjoy the holiday season they deserve.

John Moore Services continuously develops programs to support and enrich the Houston community. When the world shut down in April 2020, John Moore Services distributed "Seeds of Hope" garden planting kits that contained potting soil, pots, and several vegetable and flower seed packets to Houstonians. What began as an idea from the John Moore Lawn Treatment team to provide 100 gardening kits, the idea quickly expanded in scope after receiving thousands of requests in less than 24 hours. Overall, John Moore Services distributed more than 3,000 kits. The kits provided a fun and free activity for families to enjoy during their time together at home during lockdown. In addition, John Moore supported the local medical community by donating to the Harris County District Hospital Foundation during the pandemic. With this year’s gift card program, the John Moore team continues to “Do Moore” and exemplify the meaning of being a good neighbor at every opportunity.
